Cool breeze hits me in the face
I close my eyes to meditate for the moment
To hear the whispers of where I belong

So many days, so many nights, so many roads, so many flights
Let the music carry me away
I drift for days – I’m so far from where I’m from

Let me get home, home where I belong
Let me get home where the roots grow thick & strong
Let me get home

See the sun set across the sky, I smile at a man as he walks by
He’s a stranger they’re all strangers, there’s not a familiar face for miles

So many days, so many nights, so many roads, so many flights
Let the music carry me away
I drift for days – I’m so far from where I’m from

Let me get home, home where I belong
Let me get home where the roots grow thick & strong
Let me get home

Cool breeze hits me in the face
I close my eyes to meditate for the moment
To hear the whispers of where I belong

So many days, so many nights, so many roads, so many flights
Let the music carry me away
I drift for days – I’m so far from where I’m from

Let me get home, home where I belong
Let me get home where the roots grow thick & strong
Let me get home

Let me get home, home where I belong
Let me get home where the roots grow thick & strong
Let me get home
